Children are very important to us

As they are to Jesus Christ.

"if you do not become like a child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven"

Services and activities for children and young people

Little Church

The first Sunday every month during the service.

Storytelling, singing, worship and craft for under 5s (with their carers)

All are welcome at our monthly group, a baby and toddler friendly half hour of activities themed around the seasons of the church. It's a great way to meet other families and follow through, on the commitments made at baptism.

Babies and pre-school children are very welcome at all services.

We provide a crèche space for babies and very young children.

Five times a year we have a Parade service with our uniformed organisations with a simpler liturgy and a more interactive talk.

Our special services for children include a Crib Service at Christmas and Messy Church at Easter.

In addition to opportunities for inclusion in our worship, a number of week day activities for children and young people take place at St Saviour’s:
