Children are very important to us
As they are to Jesus Christ.
"if you do not become like a child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven"
Services and activities for children and young people
First Sunday of each month: Little Church and Sunday Club
There are special activities for children during the service on the first Sunday of each month. Little Church: Storytelling, singing, worship and craft for under 5s (with their carers), baby and toddler friendly activities themed around the seasons of the church. Sunday Club: Learning, craft and activities for primary school aged children. Both are a great way to meet other families and follow through on the commitments made at baptism.
Babies and pre-school children are very welcome at all services.
We provide a crèche space for babies and very young children.
Five times a year we have a Parade service with our uniformed organisations with a simpler liturgy and a more interactive talk.
Our special services for children include a Crib Service at Christmas and Messy Church at Easter.
In addition to opportunities for inclusion in our worship, a number of week day activities for children and young people take place at St Saviour’s:
Uniformed organisations at St Saviour’s:
